Aaron was thinking about the nature of time when working on this piece. He is interested in how we have different ways of thinking about and internalising time. The wearer of a watch has a constant schedule and a slave-like sensitivity to time. Yet this is a different understanding to that given to us by music and dance. And so here the wearer of a watch is insulated from the ground by footwear, hands on hips, locked in time.
