Angela combines acrylics and oils to depict the tangible world we navigate daily, in contrast to the beadwork that represents the unconscious world—an intricate tapestry of fears, vulnerabilities, and hidden aspects of self. Through vibrant colours and meticulous placement of her glass beadwork, she creates a powerful dialogue between the seen and unseen aspects of our lives.

In Graceful Dancers, the artist draws a poetic parallel between the ballerina and the flamingo — two figures of elegance whose beauty conceals a world of endurance and struggle. Beneath their graceful movements lies a story of resilience: the flamingo withstands harsh weather and saline waters, while the ballerina pushes through blisters and exhaustion to achieve perfection. Both embody the paradox of fragility and strength, reminding us that grace is not the absence of pain but the mastery of it.
